Ever since The Toddler started solids, I’ve kept avocados in stock. One of his favorites was Banana Blueberry “Pudding.” We don’t make it much anymore because now he just eats avocados cubed and loves it! I, on the other hand, am still learning to love them. I’ve never been a guacamole fan, and large chunks of avocado kind of gross me out.
That being said, I have enjoyed them in things like wraps and on things like chili. Now that I’ve eaten them for some time, I appreciate the creamy texture and mild taste. Read the rest of this post
Sorry for my short hiatus guys. I went away this weekend to play in some mud and left my kitchen behind. When I got back I made tacos with a side of asparagus for dinner.
Weird combo, right?
Well, I forgot I bought the asparagus last week and of course it sat in the fridge all weekend while I was away because there no way in hell The Husband is going to roast asparagus for dinner. Read the rest of this post
I’ve been having a BLAST with my self-initiated #DailyYogurt challenge. Every day I try to come up with a fun tasty way to top plain old yogurt using whatever I have in the house. It’s been teaching to me think beyond the grab-able processed snack and find more whole options when I’m hungry.

I LOVE spices! I can’t imagine not having a stocked spice cabinet. I grew up with a mom who had a stocked spice cabinet and now I am a mom with a stocked spice cabinet. I can only hope I’m passing my love of spices to my boys as well.
There’s only one problem being a spice lover: They’re darn expensive!
For basics I choose the cheapo brands. Read the rest of this post
I’ve started a new series on Instragram called #DailyYogurt and this one just needed to be shared on the blog.
It was a filling, indulgent bowl of yumminess!
Yup, that pretty much sums it up.
I would have never thought to combine a nut butter and yogurt until someone asked me if I did. Then I couldn’t get the thought out of my head. Read the rest of this post
