    Jicama for the Win!

Updated: Aug 20, 2023 by greenlitebitescom · This post may contain affiliate links · 9 Comments

    • Deli ham rolls with some triscuit and Laughing Cow cracker "sandwiches" on the side
    • Jicama sticks
    • Strawberries
    • Pecans (he calls them "bear claws")
    • Water

    What Came Home?

He didn't want me to put the jicama in because his "friends wouldn't know what it was and he didn't wanted to explain it to them." But I did it anyway and look what's all gone. 🙂 He said the triscuits got mushy, next time I'll make them the morning of instead of the night before.

Julie - It's a lunch box system called Bento... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002IAJFSS/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=roswewapas-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399369&creativeASIN=B002IAJFSS

Rose - it's insulated but I don't add a cold pack. Sometimes I'll freeze his water halfway but he eats 3 hours after he gets there. It's not that long.

great lunch. Has for the crackers and ham maybe next time keep them separate and then they should stay the same as if came out of the box.

This came at just the right time. My little guy just started Kindergarten and the ONLY sandwich he will eat is PB&J. They just banned PB at his school so i was starting to wonder what to send him with for lunch. Please keep the kiddo lunch ideas coming :0)

I know these are kids lunches, but I'm going to use the ideas for myself and my boyfriend. I'm always so clueless on what to pack, especially for him. It's always a surprise what comes home with him...and he's 27 years old.

TFS! Also-you prob. talked about this somewhere, but what are the cute containers you use and how do you ensure that they come home...
