Voiced Over Fast Chicken & Peas

Posted in: Toddler Approved, Video Posts |

How do I say this? Let’s see.

My video has no audio. That’s right ladies and gentleman, my computer crashed while rendering the video and unfortunately the audio track was corrupted. Fortunately the actual video was intact. I was slightly upset as I do these videos in “real time” with no prep, no editing and no second takes (not that you couldn’t tell) ;~P

Sooo what so I do?

I have no other choice but to roll with it. (Or not post it but that would be no fun) So I voiced it over. It’s not a great but at least I can get my idea out there and meet my goal of posting a video.

I’m leaving this idea as just an idea and not calculating nutritional information. I estimate my points at 6 a servings with 4 servings.

Other ideas you may enjoy...

It is always good to remember that if you have a well stocked pantry you can make fast healthy meals on the fly. Thanks. My daughter missed Ryan.

Roni! I’m sorry I’ve been commenting like crazy lately. And I just realized there is another Allison who comments, so I’m going to be ‘Allison K’ now :P

Anyway! I love these ‘one pot’ pasta dish ideas. They are super comforting. I’m normally more inclined to use wilted leafy greens.. but tonight I’m using frozen peas in your Beef-a-Roni dish! I am SO looking forward to it!

Thanks, yet again, for another genius idea! :D

I am going to make this with some carrots yum. I also have the “pea aversion” that your husband has haha.

Excellent job making lemonade out of lemons! I LOVE frozen peas too! My husband won’t eat peas, but I’m guessing he grew up on the canned variety. I might have to sneak some in our next dish!

Thanks for the great ideas - ALWAYS!!!

    Hi Roni,

Despite not being a toddler, I share the toddlers love of chocolate milk. You have mentioned it in a few videos including this one. I was wondering how and what brand chocolate milk you use? Most seem filled with sugar. Thanks!

Kathy - I use mostly use 8th continent light (http://www.8thcontinent.com/Products/ProductIndividual.aspx?CategoryID=2&ProductID=6)
It only has 2 more grams of sugar then regular skim milk and I actually dilute it with cows milk to stretch it further as I find it sweet.

    Hope that helps!
