What Came Home?

Sorry for the short hiatus. I think I just needed some time off from posting. These are quick jammers but finding time to actually get them up can sometimes prove difficult.
Anyway, I actually got him to eat PB&J twice now! Remember this is the kid who doesn't like PB OR sandwiches. My new technique is to do two thin layers of PB on each slice of bread and then put jelly in the middle. He actually came home the first time I made it and said he "loved" it. 🙂
My other discovery this past week was "Crunchy Curls" they are a Trader Joe's brand snack made with lentil and potato flour. We both love them and I like that he's getting a snack with a little extra fiber and protein instead of regular chips or pretzels. I know not everyone has a Trader Joe's nearby but if you do, check them out. They are quite yummy and not too salty.

i still have to mix my pb and j together in a bowl before spreading it on a sandwich. i didnt like pb as a child and this is the only way i would eat it. i still dont care for it much but the homogenous mixture seems to change everything LOL

Thanks for the tip on the Crunchy Curls. I'm always looking for new snacks to send to school with Carter.
