What Came Home?

Let me explain the uneaten apple because it is yet another example of why kids ARE SO FRUSTRATINGLY ANNOYING!
Phew ... that felt good to get off my chest.
I can't remember when and frankly I'm too lazy to look up exactly when someone gave me the idea to cut the apple and put it back together to prevent oxidation. The 7-year-old LOVED it this way a couple years ago, and I could actually get him to eat most of it -- at least a lot more than giving him a whole apple that would come back with 1-2 bites missing. So I asked him this morning if he wanted one and he said, yes.
As you can see, it didn't fly. He told me it was too weird and next time he just wants a regular apple.
Sigh.

And then come braces and back to cut again!

Can totally relate! I've had the same reaction with the apple ... I even get "I like to eat that at home Mom but not for lunch at school" ???? go figure! 🙂

Cut up apples are for little kids; not cool kids!!!
