What Came Home?

When I asked him why he didn't he a lot, especially two of his favorites--peppers and mango--he said, and I quote...
"I'm so sorry mommy. I ran out of time. I was talking to much."
LOL at least he was honest.

Ahhh, that is so cute! I don't have any children to pack lunches for but I do a husband and he is like a kid! I asked him did you eat all your lunch, yah, but I traded one of the brownies for a taco. See even men in there 50's still trade there lunches! I think I may get one of those lunch boxes for me!

The elementary school I last worked at (last year) they had a 5 minute period of time during lunch where there was no talking allowed, to make sure that kids had time to eat at least some of their lunch. Perhaps Ryan would have benefited from that today. lol 🙂

Funny how this is for kids lunches and here I am thinking how I'd like this for MY lunches. Maybe swap the peppers for hummus and carrots though - I don't know how Ryan eats peppers straight up like that! I need my dip!

First, I have to say these posts have been awesome! You've given me great ideas that go beyond the "boring" sandwich. Please keep 'em coming!! And second, my son is the same way! Too much of a gabber! Half (if I'm lucky) of his lunch come home. He does eat his "protein" though, because I've told him that's one of the most important (in my book) parts of his diet. After asking him about what he didn't eat he'll say, "But Mommy, I did eat all of my cheese, because I know you want me to have protein." Gotta love them! Kids are awesome! Thanks Roni!

LOL I DO talk too much!
Anyway, glad he likes them. I should try to make them for Ryan again. He stopped eating them last year.

Genetics? Now I'm not saying YOU talk to much...because far from complaining I love to listen to you talk on your pod casts!!! What a darling boy he is!

At least you don't have to pack his lunch for today.
