What Came Home?
You can pack good things but that doesn't mean they are going to eat the good things. At least they both devoured the cantaloupe! Melon is one of the only fruits I can get Little Bean to eat. Ryan, on the other hand, is game for almost anything in the fruit family.

Your above lunch item is really a healthy one. I am always try to serve my kids that's kind healthy food for his lunch item.Because it's help them for growing their health and mind. I think it's not so much expensive so we can easily serve this to our kids.

I just realized that you were posting Evan's lunch too. I love it! I'm having a hard time coming up with things for my guy who's 15 months. I've been sending mixed veggies and leftover dinner protein along with a cheese stick, yogurt, banana and crackers most days. I'm sure he's getting sick of it!

wonder if a small squirt of maple syrup or bbque sauce on the turkey would have won them over? sometimes I get tired of plain turkey but just a hint of a sauce makes it taste different and good!
love it that your kids like cauliflower...mine never did like it growing up nor do they now! does Ryan like hummus? thinking red peppers/hummus. again..it's just a hint of a different taste to the same-o same-0.
have fun in Italy....can't wait to read about it on your sites!!

Cauliflower looks yummy. I never thought of roasting it. I make mean spicy cauliflower dish and I love it raw in salad too. You've got me hooked on roasted squash. I've been eating it since I saw one recipe posted. I'm with the kids on melon. It rocks.
