What Came Home?

I can hardly believe this myself...
I told him to pick out a piece of Easter candy for his lunch "for dessert."
He dug through his basket and smiled when we put it in his lunch box. I've told you he's a candy freak, right?
When he came home and I saw that he didn't eat it I asked why. He said,
"You told me it was for dessert and I didn't finish my lunch so I didn't eat it."
Wow... He's such a good kid, except for when he isn't. 😉

Love Laptop lunches also! We are on year 3 with our original and going strong. I love that you show healthy lunches dont have to be fancy, complicated or a bento theme. My kids like touches here and there like cookie cutter sandwiches but for the most part they are just happy getting food that tastes good. Sharing your blog with my Eating out of the Basket(fellow Bountiful Basket Co-op and produce lovers) Facebook Group. Keep up the good job!
