English Muffin Pizza Recipe
If you are okay with a slightly not so traditional choice for pizza, then you will love these. I've made many variations of pizza snacks over the years, but this one is a favorite because it is so fast. I like to pop these in the toaster oven or an air fryer to cook them faster, but you can make larger batches of them in the oven if you prefer.
When making this recipe, I use my own homemade pizza sauce recipe. The points below are calculated using a generic jar pizza sauce, but you can use whatever you prefer. If you like pizza though, you'll also enjoy the eggplant pizza recipe or even the butternut squash pizzas.
What Toppings Go on English Muffin Pizzas
What do you like on pizza? There is your answer! English muffin pizzas are fairly hearty, so you can add almost any topping to them that you can imagine. Of course, if you are looking for "light" bites like we usually share here, then the items below are great for adding to your pizza recipe.
- Parmesan, Asiago, pepper jack, cheddar, or provolone
- Black olives, green olives, or jalapeno slices
- Bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, or broccoli
- Canadian bacon, grilled chicken, or turkey pepperoni
Can I Make These Ahead of Time and Freeze?
Yes! if you want to keep some of these handy in your freezer for later, then you can make them ahead of time. To do this, simply prepare up to the baking portion, and place in a single layer on a baking sheet. Freeze for 1-2 hours until set, then transfer them into a storage container or large freezer bag to label and then place into your freezer.
These are good for up to 4 months in the freezer. Just put them directly onto a baking sheet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes to cook through.
What are the myWW Points for These?
Each serving is a whole muffin or two pieces. The points listed below reflect these made with just sauce, cheese, bell pepper, and tomato. If you add additional toppings like mentioned above, you will need to recalculate the points to verify they are accurate.

You may also notice that whole wheat English muffins range from 3-4 points each on various plans. I recommend checking the points before logging them just in case yours are different than what I used to calculate.

Bread doesn't normally hold up to sauce but it may work with tomato slices. Try it and let us know!
