I tried, I really did, but I could not carve out 20 minutes in a quiet house with both kids to record this darn video. It's getting harder and harder the older the kids get. Life was simple with just one toddler. Now that I have a grade-schooler AND a toddler things are hectic!
I'm not here to complain, I swear, I love the craziness! I actually think I thrive on it.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my latest produce pick. I was shocked to see something new in the produce department of my local grocery store. I think I may have even yelped out an audible, "Yay!"
Any Horned Melon fans out there? I can honestly say I have never seen them before this week.

The first time I learned about them was in one of those farmer's vegetable boxes. I didn't really know what to do with it at first but dove right in and it tasted great.

We have been looking at these horned melons all summer, but were reluctant to spend the $$ on them because they are really spendy at our market as well. So cool that you did a produce pick with them as we've been so curious. Glad Ryan liked it!
