Pearl Onion and Mushroom Skillet Idea

Published: Dec 15, 2009 · Modified: Oct 16, 2020 by greenlitebitescom · This post may contain affiliate links · 7 Comments

I've made 3 variations of this idea so far but I will craft a specific recipe with true nutritional information purely for the fact that it's fast becoming a husband favorite. Now that's pretty rare!

Even though the child is not a fan of mushrooms or onions he likes this meal. Tonight I ACTUALLY got him to try a mushroom and he ACTUALLY admitted they weren't that bad. Not in words, mind you, but by facial expression. We called him on it and he just smirked. It was cute.

I hope this loooong video gives you some ideas for you family. 🙂

As I mentioned it i the video click here for my frozen meat trick.

I am so going to make this! I love onions and mushrooms - haven't used pearl onions - but will try them now. The only thing I may add is garlic. Can't wait to try it! Thanks for another yummy recipe!

This recipe is wonderful. I added cooking sherry, a shake of McCormick Grillmates seasoning, and a shake of soy sauce. Definitely using frozen pearl onions next time. The 5 year old approves.

Roni, I tried your recipe, and it was delicious.. did make a substituiton though, instead of worchesteshire sauce, i used a tablespoon of a dry lipton onion soup mix and i too used the frozen pearl onions. Family loved it and those baby bellas are awesome. Thanks for the recipe... You rock!!

I made this tonight but totally bastardized it. I used regular onion sliced thin, cremini mushrooms corn starch but the "idea" (as bastardized as it was), was yummy and very comforting on a very cold night!

I love pearl onions, but I get them frozen because they are already peeled! YUM.
