Pan "Grilled" Veggies

Published: Jul 18, 2009 · Modified: Oct 16, 2020 by greenlitebitescom · This post may contain affiliate links · 6 Comments

We're baaaaack... from vacation that is! After a week of eating crap we decided on a super light dinner of grilled veggies and fresh corn on the cob. Everyone loved it. Well... everyone except the husband. Here's how the conversation went down (in reference to the veggies)...

The Husband: "These are great."

Me: "Then why aren't you eating then?"

The Husband: "You know me. I don't like them."

Me: "Then why did you say they were great?"

The Husband: "Cause... you know... other people will like them. They are good. I just don't like them."

Yes, ladies and gentleman, this is who I married. 🙂

Your video is exactly like cooking dinner goes at my house. It's nice to see someone managing a meal with a toddler in tow.

    🙂

I have a tiny apartment kitchen just like that and the only good thing that I have to say about mine is that I LOVE having a garbage disposal! We grind up lemon peels in it to keep it fresh smelling. Yum.

Also, if you don't have one, a cast iron grill pan is awesome for indoor grilling. It's not the same as using a bbq outside, but when you are restricted to indoor grilling, it suffices and still offers the nice marks on the food that make it so visually appealing.

    Loved all your vacation pics!

when I saw the still of ryan holding the lime, i starting singing "you put the lime in the coconut" and now i can't stop...

even though hubby won't eat them, it's awesome you've got ryan into all of the fruits and veggies!!
