"The Baby" was born 3 weeks early choosing the festive St. Patrick's Day to arrive! Such a fitting color choice--don't you think? 😉
Mom, Baby, Little Man and the Husband are all doing well. I am breast feeding and establishing a routine now. For a late pre-term baby he is doing FANTASTIC. Latching like a champ. We have a doctor's appointment today and will be checking his weight. I'm hoping no supplements are necessary and I have a pump on the ready in case they are.
I'm not making any promises when I'll be back posting ideas. Let's play it by ear. I am hoping to redo my Breast Milk Storage video now that I'm actually nursing (and slightly better in front of the camera.) I also thought it would be fun to link to one of the first videos the Little Man was in. Maybe it's the hormones but it brought a few tears to my eyes. I can't believe how fast they grow up!

So excited for you! My youngest, who is now 14, shares the same gloriously green b-day! He was a scheduled c-section and I was able to pick the date. Since his last name is Doherty what date would be more fitting! My father-in-law at the time promised to bring me cornbeef and cabbage to the hosptial if I had Rylan on St. Patrick's Day! I found I was able to enjoy the second time around much more as I was more relaxed... Like your little guy, the toddler was three weeks early, and weighted only 5 pounds 4 ounces, but he caught up quickly... It was such a different experience than with the teenager, who weighed 10 pounds...

Very wide-eyed for pre-term baby 🙂 My twin girls were 4 weeks early, and were like kittens for first few weeks, with scrunched up eyes.
