This is super simple but I hope it inspires you when water gets boring.
My go to drink has always been water and I've acquired quite a taste for it over the years, but there are still times when I want something more. Something with a with flavor that still has no calories or artificial sweeteners in it.
That's when I reach for tea!
Here's how I like to make it for a refreshing treat…
Ingredients
- 3-4 bags of your favorites teas - Mix it up!
- 4 cups of boiling water
- About 50 ice cubes
- 10-15 fresh mint leaves
Instructions
I use a peach, a raspberry and a green tea bag but any combination or flavors would work. Try to keep a few in the pantry, teas come in handy!
Steep the tea bags in the boiling water for at least 5 minutes. Add the ice cubes and tea tea leaves. Stir and mash with a wooden spoon. You want to release the oils in the mint leaves and cool down the tea at the same time.
Most of the ice will melt so pour over more in a nice tall glass.
Enjoy!
