Ingredients

  • 1 cup 204 g uncooked sorghum
  • 3 cups broth I used stock made from my Thanksgiving turkey!
  • 1 large sweet onion
  • 1 pound grape tomatoes halved (I bought 2 pounds for a Thanksgiving vegetable tray and had so many left they were starting to wrinkle.)
  • 2 red bell Peppers chopped
  • 1 pound 8 links turkey sausage (mine were frozen)

Instructions

  • Put everything in the crockpot.
1 cup 204 g uncooked sorghum, 3 cups broth, 1 large sweet onion, 1 pound grape tomatoes, 2 red bell Peppers, 1 pound 8 links turkey sausage (mine were frozen)
  • Cook on high for at least 5 hours; mine went for 7.
  • The sorghum will be tender with a yummy chewiness and the veggies soft, making them both a nice compliment to the meaty sausage.
