Start your day off on the right foot with peaches and cream oatmeal. This satisfying breakfast will give you the energy you need to tackle the day ahead.
Put the oats, water, and salt in a small pot over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
½ cup Old Fashioned Oats, 1 cup of water, pinch of salt
Once the oats start to absorb a bit of the water (you'll notice the water getting cloudy and slightly thick) add the cinnamon and a tablespoon of honey. Stir until boiling. The oats will thicken in about 3 minutes.
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of Honey
Turn off the heat.
Stir in the yogurt and ¾ of the cut peach.
2 oz Greek Yogurt, 1 peach cut unto small cubes with skin
Once blended well, transfer to a bowl. Top with the remaining peaches and drizzle with a bit more honey.
