Put the apple, cranberries and yogurt into the blender first. This is always my technique when working with fresh (unfrozen) fruit or vegetables.
1 small apple, ½ cup fresh, ½ cup plain yogurt
It blends all the fruit into a nice puree.
I didn't put the honey in right away so I could taste how tart the base would be. This way I could add just enough for my taste.
I decided on a tablespoon of honey to take the edge off. Those cranberries are tart! Add the honey, ice cubes and cinnamon to the blender and blend again until smooth. Pour into a nice class and marvel at your perfect fall smoothie!
