Make your next lunch a little bit fancier with this pressed ham sandwich. The tangy sweetness of orange marmalade and smoothness of cream cheese will have you craving it every day.
2slicesof whole wheat breadI used Martin's Whole Wheat Potato Bread
1tablespoonorange marmalade
1wedge of The Laughing Cow Chive & Onion ⅓ Fat Smooth Sensations Cream Cheese Wedge
2ozsliced ham
Small handful of raw spinach
Instructions
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Spread the marmalade on one slice of bread and the cream cheese spread on the other.
2 slices of whole wheat bread, 1 wedge of The Laughing Cow Chive & Onion ⅓ Fat Smooth Sensations Cream Cheese Wedge, 1 tablespoon orange marmalade
Pile on the ham and spinach.
2 oz sliced ham, Small handful of raw spinach
Press the sandwich in the skillet.
Cook it for about 2 minutes until the bread is nice and toasted. Then flip, press again and cover.
Cook for another 2 minutes then remove from the heat, cut in half, add a side of carrot sticks and pat yourself on the back for thinking outside of the sandwich box. At least that's what I did. 😉
Notes
This is my substitution for not having a panini press and being too lazy to pull out the George Foreman.
