Quick French Toast...

No need to spend hours in the kitchen to enjoy delicious French toast. With this recipe, you can whip up a tasty breakfast in minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg
  • splash of your favorite milk about an ounce
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 slices of your favorite whole grain bread
  • non-stick cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Heat a non-stick frying pan or griddle over medium heat.
  • whisk the egg, milk and spices in a flat bottom bowl or dish.
    1 egg, splash of your favorite milk, ¼ teaspoon nutmeg, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Spray the skillet with non-stick spray.
  • Dip the bread quickly in the egg (both sides) and place on the skillet.
    4 slices of your favorite whole grain bread
  • Flip after 2-3 minutes when the toast become a nice golden brown.
  • Serve with a bit of syrup!

Notes

  • The Nutritional Information may vary based on the bread you use. I ate my second with just a bit of maple syrup and oh.. MY! YUM!
