Spread the bag of peppers on a cutting board and chop them a little smaller. You could, of course, use fresh but I’ve had this bag in my freezer forever and it was time to use it. I also like knowing I can use a bag of frozen when fresh is unavailable.
1 8 oz bag of frozen mixed pepper strips
Put all ingredients in a bowl
20 oz package of ground turkey, 4 tablespoon ground flax meal, ½ cup wheat bran, 1 egg, 2 tablespoon garlic powder, 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, pinch of kosher salt
Mix with your hands until combined.
Form into 8 - 4oz patties.
Preheat your grill and spray or rub with a little oil as turkey burgers have a habit of sticking.
I cooked them about 7 minutes a side on a hot grill but over medium-low heat.
