  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat, parchment paper, or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Wash the asparagus and trim off the lower end of the spear where it naturally snaps (usually about ¼ of the spear).
    1 lb. asparagus spears
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lemon juice, and garlic. 
    1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 3 cloves garlic
  • Place the trimmed asparagus into a large Ziploc bag and pour over the marinade.  Seal the bag and shake gently to coat the asparagus.
  • Marinate for 15 minutes or refrigerate and marinate up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Place the asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
    ¼ teaspoon salt, ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until just tender and browning slightly.
