Instructions

  • Combine the apple, onion, vinegar, pepper, garlic, mustard, cinnamon, ginger and about 2 pinches of salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and then reduce to low.
1 large apple chopped, 1 small onion chopped, ⅛ cup apple cider vinegar, 1 small red pepper or half a large chopped, 1 cloves garlic, squirt of brown mustard, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, Kosher Salt
  • Simmer for 45 minutes to an hour. It may not look like enough liquid at first but it'll still boil and reduce. If it's really too dry, add another splash of vinegar.
  • After the hour let the chutney cool by placing it in the fridge.
  • Once cooled combine the chutney, parsley and ground turkey with a pinch of salt and pepper.
8 oz of lean ground turkey, 1 bunch of parsley chopped, Ground Pepper
  • Form into 2-3 patties. I made 3 as I actually like a smaller patty so I can add more "stuff" to my burger.
  • Grill about 7 minutes on the George Foreman grill or about 6-7 minutes a side depending on thickness.
