Banana Protein Pancakes are like homemade Kodiak cakes. A simple pancake recipe using sprouted whole grain flour and unflavored whey to boost the protein.

  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium.
  • Whisk the whey, flour, and baking powder together. Set aside.
    ½ cup 30 g Sprouted Wheat Flour 100% Whole Grain, ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder, 2 scoops Unflavored Whey Protein
  • Mash the banana in another bowl. Whisk in almond milk, egg, and vanilla until frothy.
    1 ripe banana mashed, 2 fluid ounce unsweetened almond milk, 1 large, 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and mix until just combined.
  • Pour ½ cup of the batter on the griddle.
  • Makes 6 pancakes.

Notes

  • I used this sprouted flour
  • I used this unflavored whey.
  • You could use oat flour or a mix in this. I just kept it simple. 
  • I'm providing the nutritional info per cake to keep it simple. This morning I enjoyed 3 with a little PB2 and it was a fantastic breakfast!
