No toddler this week as I venture into a beverage idea that’s NOT a smoothie. (As I post this I realized all my prior "drinks" have been in the realm of the smoothie. )

Did I ever tell you guys how much I love bean dip. I mean really I LOVE it. I don’t know if it’s the texture or the spicy kick that gets me. All I do know… sit me down with a bag of tortilla chips and a jar of bean dip and I’m good for the night. Forget it, skip the chips, just give me the dip and a spoon. As I say the video, I had the idea of showing you how the toddler and I eat pomegranate last year but my plans were foiled. Apparently you can’t get pomegranates out of season, at least where I live. Don’t get your hopes up, it’s more oatmeal then pie. And since we are in full fledge fall I just had to do something my canned pumpkin. Just HAD to! ;~P

Yup, I’m at it again. Messing with those Ramen noodles (Click here to see my other Ramen ideas). Here’s the deal, it’s Friday, I’m in desperate need of a grocery shopping trip. I just got home from a 2 hour workout with an awesome trainer who kicked my butt and, dude, I was HUNGRY.
…and I mean quick! Seriously, the video is 15 minutes. It took me 15 minutes to make a warm, healthy home cooked breakfast for the toddler before school. That 15 minutes included a bit of discipline, a pumpkin show off, a mini-commercial, the toddler cracking my eggs and scooping my spices. It was fun, fast, healthy, and everything I want family time to be (although, I do have to curb the toddler’s self expression to talk to you! LOL) Read the rest of this post
This was a quick idea after having nothing ready for dinner. I was fighting off the urge to order in and I needed to please both the husband and the toddler. Now that’s no easy task! :~)
Somehow I succeeded! The only thing the husband said was it could have used a bit more garlic. I, on the other hand, thought it was the perfect amount. The hint was there without being overpowering and I couldn’t add more anyway, I used all that I had! Read the rest of this post
Oh my Word! I LOVE this soup! I found myself Friday with a crap load of veggies and craving for a nice healthy bowl of warmth. And boy was it perfect timing as a cold front just came in!
I made this on Friday during a complete food fest. The toddler was home form school and we spent the better part of the day in the kitchen like two happy clams chatting and munching. It was so much fun!
