Cooking With Kids: Tuna Steaks With Broccoli, Brown Rice and Quinoa

Posted by 3 years ago 4 Comments

Yay for episode 2 of Cooking With Kids!

I didn’t think it was going to happen. Our evenings are getting busier and busier and it’s hard enough just getting dinner cooked, let alone cooking while teaching and recording!

That being said, I absolutely LOVE making these!

As you’ll see in the video we kept things super simple: Precooked rice, frozen broccoli, etc. My local grocery has a sale on tuna every few months and we always grab a few steaks. It’s by far the kids’ favorite fish (besides fish sticks, which I rarely buy anymore).

Hope you enjoy it and feel inspired to include your kids in the cooking next time!

I love these cooking with kids videos, Roni. Ryan is pretty darn amazing in the kitchen! And you look so adorable in your fluffy sweater.

I made this tonight and it was delicious! I marinated the steaks in the sauce for an hour before I cooked them which was super tasty but they didnt get that sear so next time I will just pour sauce on top. Such a great meal though!!
