Here in Chile we are used to these two different type of cucumbers: Salad Cucumber (Pepino), your average green cucumber; and Fruit Cucumber (Pepino), wich is this nice fruit. They're a summer fruit, usually very cheap to buy when in season, and one of my mom's favorite. It can be peeled before served but that's a really juicy mess!!! The skin is soft like an apple, so no need to peel it before eating it. Glad you liked it!
