School Lunch Ideas

Sometimes I feel bad throwing random things in Little Guys lunch box, but the truth is… There’s no need to get all fancy. He doesn’t need everything to be perfectly paired or food to be made in cute shapes with grapes for eyes and carrot noses (although I do find those things cute as heck!)

What he does need is a variety of basic foods. Today was whole wheat waffles, corn and a pear. Tomorrow could be hard boiled eggs, peppers and nuts. Simple. Easy. Real Food. And I let him know that because he eats the healthy stuff, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying a bag of chocolate cookies for snack. It’s all about balance.

I’d love to hear your story or thoughts on mine.

I never thought I'd have to do this but it's gotten way out of hand and comment management has become simply too time consuming to manage.
