  • 2 Old Fashioned Graham Crackers
  • Water
  • Snack: Whole Grain Gold Fish

Ok, the day after The Lunch That Launched a New Rule we had the COMPLETE OPPOSITE situation. This time he totally skipped the “main course” and ate only the peripherals. It made me laugh, after I took a deep breath that is.

This is how the conversation went down..

Me: Why didn’t you eat the chicken leg?
Him: It looked gross.
Me: It didn’t look gross last night at dinner. You ate 2.
Him: I know but it looks gross now.
18 year old Babysitter chime in: I think it looks delicious. Wish my mom made me lunches like that.
Me: See, I’m awesome *said jokingly* OK, new rule: You have to take a bite of everything in your lunch box before you deem it gross. Deal?
Him: ok.

I then took another leg out of the fridge and he took a bite and agreed… NOT gross.

Ahhh every day is an adventure!
