What Came Home?
I’m one of those moms who never cuts the crust off sandwiches. My theory: if you never cut it off it wouldn’t be an issue becuase they wouldn’t know any better.
Well, I was wrong.
Spontaneously, my 7 year old has declared his hate of crusts even though he’s been eating grilled cheese and PB&J with crusts since, ummm, oh I don’t know, age ONE.
It’s not that big of a deal. He rarely even eats sandwiches. I just hate waste and it bugs me when people don’t like things for picky reasons. If you don’t like oranges, ok, you don’t like an orange, I get it, but CRUST? It’s bread. The same bread your eating on the rest of the sandwich. Suck it up and eat it.
Ok, not sure where that came from but I feel better now that I got it off my chest. Apparently I have some pretty strong feelings about crust eating!
In all honestly, it wasn’t that big of a deal. He ate a great lunch!
