What Came Home?
So you may or may not know, I run a juice free household. That way I can let the kids (OMG now I have 2) have it when we go out and they see it as a treat.
Well last week, after Little Guy’s soccer game, he got the traditional post-game snack. They give away a juice box and treat after every game/practice. I don’t think they should but that’s another post. Anyway, he got his bag of Cheetos and Juicebox and came running over to me saying…
“I’m gonna save this and bring it to school in my lunch! That way my friends will see that I get juice boxes too!”
He was so excited. It was cute. I told him it was a great idea and pretty smart. I love that he’s already willing to give something up now so he can have it later. It’s all about the compromise. :)
In other news.. he’s coming around on PB&Js which is good because I’ve been in a creative slump lately. He’s been getting mostly hard boiled eggs. They are healthy, easy and he always eats them.
