Adventures in Healthier Eating with 2 Kids and a Picky Husband

Book Giveaway: My Two Year Old Eats Octopus

I can’t say enough good things about this book. The author doesn’t hit you over the head with stead fast rules or try to sell some new catch phrase approach — if I hear the phrase baby-led weaning one more time my head is going to explode — she simple shares her thoughts, experiences and advice in a very easy to read, digestible way. It gave me a lot to think about and helped me approach things from a different angle quite a few times.

I would love to win this book. My daughter is 13 months and sometimes I am not sure what to feed her when. I would love to raise a child who is not a picky eater! Reply

My son, who is 3, likes pizza, mac 'n cheese, grilled cheese, gravy, corn on the cob...hum..what else? Fresh fruit? Forget about it! He won't drink anything but the formula for older toddlers, water and iced tea. I feel like a failed in the mom department!!! I'd love any help I could get!! Reply

Hubby and I are foodies and we grew up in foodie families! Now it’s our time to share the love of food to our baby girl! She’s not into solids yet (she’s only 2 months!) but we would require advanced reading :-) Reply

My 9 month old, Summit, loves curry! Octopus next! I'd love to have this book considering there was no method to my madness and I think I got lucky with him liking the strong flavors! Reply

I need this book! My 20-month-old used to eat everything and lately seems to be limiting her palate more and more. Love to have it. Thanks for the opportunity! Reply

We're just beginning to embark on the food journey with our six-month-old. We've mastered oatmeal and she's just beginning to like sweet potatoes. Her father only ate hot dogs as a toddler and rarely eats veggies now - I need all the help I can get avoiding a repeat of that situation with her!! Reply

I'm about to start my 6-month-old on real food and I am worried that he will end up eating like his picky father, who pretty much won't eat anything but meat pizza, burgers, fries and mac-n-cheese. I am an adventurous eater and I would give anything for my child to love a wide variety of nutritious food and to not be afraid to try new things. Thanks for the giveaway! Reply

Getting my daughter to eat "right" is one of the main stessors in my life. She is addicted to crap...canned pasta, boxed mac and cheese, frozen pizza and hamburgers...with the occasional veggie lasagna (YAY!) I am a vegetarian, but my husband is not and she takes more after him in the way that she likes to eat. I hate it and try to get her to eat healthier/more varied foods, but she flat out refuses. HELP! I need your book! Thanks, Erica Reply
