LOL When I started seeing empty lunch boxes coming home, I told my kids that I would “swing by” the school at their lunch time just to be sure they were eating all of the lunch. I also told them that they wouldn’t know that I was there :) I went a couple of times and they were on the best behavior…and the lunch boxes haven’t been 100% empty since!

But everything was of his taste, right? The sandwich wouldn’t leave crumbs if he take it out. The water bottle has some sauce in the top, proving he drank while eating the pasta. He steals your red peppers since ever, and who in his right mind would throw away berries?

Oh, and he can take his lunch to school, eat the meat and all his lunch, and throw the bone anyway because it’s trash. I never bring back the bone from a porkchop when I have lunch at work!

Suddenly my oldest daughter, who is a nortoriously slow eater, started coming home with no leftovers and no more trash in her lunch bag (I still use plastic bags some days.) She still claims to have eaten her whole lunch but I have my doubts! Glad I’m not alone in the sneaky/smarty kid club. :)
