Welcome the Latest Member to the GreenLiteBites Family!

“The Baby” was born 3 weeks early choosing the festive St. Patrick’s Day to arrive! Such a fitting color choice–don’t you think? ;)

Mom, Baby, Little Man and the Husband are all doing well. I am breast feeding and establishing a routine now. For a late pre-term baby he is doing FANTASTIC. Latching like a champ. We have a doctor’s appointment today and will be checking his weight. I’m hoping no supplements are necessary and I have a pump on the ready in case they are.

I’m not making any promises when I’ll be back posting ideas. Let’s play it by ear. I am hoping to redo my Breast Milk Storage video now that I’m actually nursing (and slightly better in front of the camera.) I also thought it would be fun to link to one of the first videos the Little Man was in. Maybe it’s the hormones but it brought a few tears to my eyes. I can’t believe how fast they grow up!

Ok, must get ready for the doctors. Oh! and you can click here for few more pictures on my Weight Loss Blog, Roni’s Weigh.

Congratulations to you and your lovely family! What a beautiful picture of your sweet baby boy. They DO grow up so darn fast. My youngest turns 4 tomorrow!

Very wide-eyed for pre-term baby :) My twin girls were 4 weeks early, and were like kittens for first few weeks, with scrunched up eyes.

He doesn’t look like a leprechaun.

Enjoy your little baby! I know you will! :)

I found I was able to enjoy the second time around much more as I was more relaxed… Like your little guy, the toddler was three weeks early, and weighted only 5 pounds 4 ounces, but he caught up quickly… It was such a different experience than with the teenager, who weighed 10 pounds…

Congratulations to you and your family! The second baby is easier in my opinion…and little guy will be able to help more than you can imagine! Best wishes for happy happy days and restful nights :)

You’ll be missed here, but take your time — there’s lots of info on your blog we can catch up on, anyway!

Oh, Roni. He’s so, so beautiful. Congratulations to you and your hubby. I’m absolutely delighted for you both, and for Little Man, who’s now the big brother.

Congratulations! What a gorgeous baby! He looks plump for an early baby. So healthy looking! Must be all that great food his mom has been eating! How much did he weigh? Blessings to all!

Congrats, Roni- is it just me, or does he look just like his big brother? Have a good rest and enjoy all the men in your life.

you truly are inspiring! I don’t know how you manage with kids and pregnancies! I am 26, just married (3 weeks ago) and no kids. I just have a full time job and find it hard to manage. God Bless you and your family!

He reminds me so much of Ryan! I had to go back and watch that video since I hadn’t seen it and Ryan was soooo adorable! I can’t believe how much he’s grown up either. Congrats to you!!

There is nothing more beautiful than a newborn (esp. when he’s yours)! What a wonderful addition to your family.

What a darling little peanut! We have three new grandkids coming this year, and seeing your new little one has me even more excited! CONGRATS!
BTW, I made your banana soft serve and it was fantastic! I ate the whole thing:)

  18. Heather Bollman

So excited for you! My youngest, who is now 14, shares the same gloriously green b-day! He was a scheduled c-section and I was able to pick the date. Since his last name is Doherty what date would be more fitting! My father-in-law at the time promised to bring me cornbeef and cabbage to the hosptial if I had Rylan on St. Patrick’s Day! Congratulations to the new little leprechaun. :-)
