I always seem to have feta with spinach in some form. Our favorite pizza, whether homemade or bought is feta, spinach, and tomato. One local pizza place calls it The Hippie and drizzles olive oil and spices, sooo yummy! I make the same 3 ingredients in omelets often too, or will order them out. Feta in a greek pita is great too.

I like to mix herb feta with fat free cream cheese and garlic and stuff into the mini peppers you can buy in the produce section of trader joes. Then spray them with a little olive oil and pop those little stuffed peppers into the oven (I just use my toaster oven so I don't heat up the kitchen) for 10-15 minutes or until warm. sooooo yummy.

thanks roni! love your blogs!!

I don't know how non-traditional it is, but my husband makes a mean Caesar chicken wrap, using feta in place of parmesan. Throw some kalamata olives in that thing, some baby romaine, and it is bangin! It seems to be even better after wrapping it up in plastic wrap for an hour or so (letting the flavors mingle), and using it as picnic fare. Mmmm! The best!

My cousin also made a London broil, sliced it up and tossed it with sauteed baby spinach, peepers and onions and then melted feta in the pan so it got creamy in parts OMG delic.!!!

I put feta on my baked potato fries. I bet they would taste delicious on baked sweet potatoes, topped with some aioli.

And I also put feta on pasta with grilled chicken, some stir-fried spinach, onions, garlic, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, a bit of basil and a dash of lemon juice. Noms.

We went to GReece on our honeymoon, and when we were there we had the best feta "spread". Take a block of feta (not the all crumbled up kind)and pour olive oil, dried oregano and pepper on it, wrap it up in foil and throw on the grill to soften up. So good on bread......

My favorite is stuffed chicken... pound a chicken breast flat (about 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick), put spinach, feta, and roasted red pepper in the center. Fold the chicken over and coat with a mixture of bread crumbs and fresh herbs. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes. Yum!

I like it on just about anything. Salads, burgers, pizzas, egg scrambles, etc.

There is a great WW recipe with spinach, mushrooms, couscous, and feta, that may be my FAVORITE way

I love feta! Recently love to put it on my fries, I like to bake them then add some garlic salt and then pile on the feta. They are so good together!

I buy feta buy the block at the deli counter. I slice it about 1/4 inch thick ,bread it ( like i would a cutlet, beat an egg in one bowl, and put panko bread crumbs in another. dip in egg then in BC) place in hot oil and fry till golden brown. You can use the fried feta to top mixed greens or spinach salads, add to pastas, omlets, or even just eat it by itself or in a nice crunchy loaf of french bread. so good

Feta is a MUST if I am going to eat a cucumber! Sliced thin, balsamic vinegar drizzled over, sprinkled with a little basil (fresh is best, but dried works too!) and feta crumbled over the top! A delicious, healthy, easy fresh snack!
