I bought the most amazing cucumber at the farmer’s market – it was huge (over a foot and a half), pale green on the outside like the normal inside color, and deeply wrinkly… with the wrinkles going in the long direction. It was like nothing I’ve ever tasted – it had all the sweet delicious flavors of a cucumber with none of the bland or bitter. I’m describing it so thoroughly because it was amazing and you’ve just got to try it if you happen to see one! It would be so good in a mediterranean cucumber, tomato, and feta salad.
