Ask Roni: Other Weight Watchers Friendly Recipe Sites
Posted in: Ask Roni Q&A | 18 Comments
I was wondering if you knew of any other good web sites besides yours that includes WWP with their recipes. I never really stray from your site, but I decided that I want to loose weight but I can’t afford to join Weight Watchers so I thought I would just go by a 28 point value system each day and see how that goes for me.

Hi Kelly!
You totally need to stray! There are tons of resources out there! Here are just a few I know of. . .

Oh! and when I get some time I’m going to add link to recipes by point values. I can’t believe I haven’t done that yet!
Hope that helps Kelley. Happy recipe hunting! ;)

Also, a great site for “Simply Filling” recipes is http://www.freewebs.com/hwc1973
I am going to give a shameless plug for my site:

argh! I posted but evidently it got lost in cyber land. I apologize if this ends up getting duplicated.
A couple of my favorites:
http://www.aimeesadventures.com/
http://www.shadesofjaim.com/recipes/
http://www.halfmysize.com/
http://crispyrice.com/recipes/wwrecipehome.html
Found this in my bookmarks…can’t recall if I’ve tried any of the recipes:

I will also shamelessly plug, I try to put points values on most recipes, that reminds me to go back and check :)
http://waisitingduxie.com there is a recipe tab at the top of the page.
Ohhhh, I like all this shameless self-plugging. :-)
Here I am being shameless as well….

Don’t let the name scare you. I’m a book freak and that’s where the name comes from.
Check my recipe tab. :-)
<3 Thankyou Roni! Now I have access to the sites you provided and the ones everyone has provided above and soon to provide below :D
I think we are all benifitting Kelly, who doesn’t like more recipes.
Awesome post. I’m always looking for new recipes.
Wow thanks so much for all the information. I agree with Kelly. I can’t afford Weight Watchers either. I just have to figure out how many points I need…
Thanks again.
Jessica – There’s an app for that. LOL (sorry bad joke) go here. . . http://ronisweigh.com/ronis-resources/wwp-calculators
Scroll down.
Viola!
I’m not on WW nor do I count points, but THANK YOU everyone for sharing all these resources and THANK YOU, Roni, for the jumping off point. Cheers to healthy living!
Sally – Sorry I have to delete your comment. I don’t want to get in trouble with WW. I do have a link to calculate what WWP target you should have here. . . http://ronisweigh.com/ronis-resources/wwp-calculators
Notice I don’t use a certain trademarked term on the calc. ;~)
Thanks for the include!
I am also going to do a little shameless self promotion. I have a blog that does include WWPs on the recipes. I use to be a WW leader — and I blog about food, exercise, inspiration etc.

Thanks Roni – I love all your blogs and direct so many people to them!
Jennifer
Yet another shameless plug.I just started a blog and while I don’t have the WWPs listed for all recipes I try to include the nutritonal information so you can figure the WWPs. Variety is the spice of life and I look forward to visiting the recipe sites that have been shared.
My favorite is http://weight-watchers-points-recipes.blogspot.com/
Thanks for including me (Gina’s WW recipes) :)
And thanks Laura Jane! This is a great collection you have here, I’ll have to visit everyone!
