But you are correct in what you are eating. You get the veins off and eat the flesh. you do not eat the seed or the veins or the hard shell. You can finger pick all the flesh off and then add some sugar to it to make a sweet and tangy concotion. or you can also add some red pepper powder and salt for a more sweet ad spicy concotion. All I can say is it was awful! So anytime we see anything tamarind (real fruit, candy, juice, whatever) we all just sort of cringe. But now after watching your video, I'm kinda inspired to try those pods.
