YUM! I didn't include the honey because my kids had plenty of sugar today, but they still came out great! I LOVE the idea of adding oatmeal instead of bread crumbs. Thanks!

I was wondering -- how do you figure out the calories, fat, fiber, etc when you make a meal?

http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/product/house-tofu-hamburger-mix

Found a different brand of this stuff at my asian grocery store. Think you may just fall in love with it if you get some. Plus if it makes the tofu burger taste really meaty you can probably get your toddler to eat it too

These burgers were soooo good. My boyfriend will eat just about anything....even veggies crumbles (lucky me!), and he comment on these burgers were.."its the perfect combination of honey and mustard, and the oats make it so filling"....haha I am sure when I get home from work today the last of them will be gone.

I also saw that they now make a whole wheat white sandwich thin, I didnt bother looking at the ingredents because we eat the other varieties, but its something to keep in mind for those of you that CANT get your kids/husbands to eat whole wheat bread!

I just tried these tonight. I loved them and will definitely make them again and again!!
That dear man of mine on the other hand started complaining as soon as he heard me say ground turkey breast... But, I am pretty lucky, because although he may complain about things - he will try almost everything I make. From his first bite he didn't love them and he said "I have definitely had worse." But the part that totally cracked me up the most was when he was complaining about the sweet flavor in the meat as he was stacking his SECOND BURGER!!! Yes, you read that right, he didn't love them but he had TWO!!! LOL Don't you just love those men out there for keeping us laughing...

I wanted to give you a huge CONGRATS on all your resent victories!!!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing this recipe - and everything else you share with us!!

Also another couple reasons to add to what roni already said about why the oatmeal.....it bines it all togheter so it sticks together while cooking. and also it adds fiber to a otherwise fiberless patty =D and also I would like it cause of the wonderful texture it adds =D

I will be trying these! I loved your southwestern patties! I think I would also add peppers to these patties too as I pretty much put them in everything! lol
