This recipe sounds so good...I didn’t have any pomegranates so I tweaked it a bit. I used fresh blueberries and Celestial Seasonings True Blueberry tea. The orange peel tastes so good with the blueberries. I also added a little cinnamon but its fine without it. Thanks for the recipe I love pomegranate so I can’t wait to try it.

I think both look really good, but the trail blazin oats seems more "accessible"--the ingredients are all easy to find whereever and whenever, the ingredients are less expensive, and I think the recipe will appeal to more populations (i.e. kids).

I think both should be in your cookbook though! YUM!

Hey Mo! Can I call you Mo? :~P
I went with this one. It was tastier, lighter and more seasonal. Plus it got more votes on twitter. :~)

Lemon poppy is genius! I hope they collect and shoot out all the ideas so we can see them.

What did you end up submitting? I didn't come by to stalk your recipes until I was done--I only had one idea, lemon poppyseed "muffin" oatmeal: just lemon juice, sugar, poppy seeds, and almond extract. Tasty! But yours were very creative and beautifully photographed!

I vote for this one, especially since the health benefits of pomegranates have been reported all over the place lately. Seems to make a good pairing with the health benefits from oatmeal. Good luck!

I vote for this one, Roni. Pomegranates are "in" these days so that will give it the popular appeal, and it looks beautiful. I'm sure it tastes wonderful too! And wasn't the other one more points? So that is also appealing to me about this one.
