Your oatmeal ideas sound so good...I'm going to have to get out of my oatmeal routine so I can try yours! Here's an idea if you could put a twist on it: 1/2 cup oatmeal, frozen blueberries (yummy), flaxseed (for extra fiber), sugar free low cal maple syrup, milk (or honey green tea), and two packets of Splenda! I would love to know what you think (speaking about the nutrition) of my daily breakfast and if you have any healthy spins on it!

I saw these on sale in the store today and thought I would try one. I knew I could look up this video when I got home. While I was looking through the pomegranates an elderly man asked me what they were. I told him and said I never tried one before. He said "Good for you!" It's so important to try new things, thanks for helping!

Just another short comment, my daughter did get some juice on her shirt but she told me right away and a quick soak in OxyClean took it right out.

Hi Ronni, recently found both of your sites and I have to say they are terrific! You inspired me to try a Pom and expose my three children (9, 7 and 3yrs)to a new healthy food. Two out of three(7 and 3yrs) gave it the thumbs up, I loved it especially on top of my Kashi Go Crunch this am, wow that was a good combo!

Love pomegranates! I was only introduced to them just over a year ago but can't get enough. They definitely stain, that is for sure. Glad our kitchen needs a remodel because I stained the walls the first time I tried my hand at opening a pom. But it's so worth it, they are very tasty. Great video.

Pomegrantes are a winter staple in our house! LOVE 'EM! We add them to all kinds of salads. I've even frozen them to add to smoothies later. (not as good, but still tasty) We usually just eat them plain with a squeeze of lemon and salt.

Hi Roni,
When I was a kid, my mom used to dress me and my little sister in old grungy shirts and send us outside with a pomegranate each. We had to sit on the curb and were not allowed anywhere near the house 'til the fruit was gone. We used butter knives and our fingers to work the seeds out of the rind. It took us a long time to work through the fruit, and we were a mess when it was done, but boy was it fun. You (and my mom) are right about staining. Truly, anything a pomegranate touches is ruined. Wear your old stuff, folks!
