It was posted last week...Thursday, I think. I was mostly excited to be chosen along with your site, which is my favorite cooking blog! :)

Looks good... the chocolate is Mexican?? spanish? I think.
Have you thought of using the "slow cooker bags?"
Doesn't look as "cool" but sure makes clean up a ZIP. Does add $ to your meal.
I then just take the bag with the left over food in it and freeze it.
Happy cookin...............

Roni!

Fantastic recipe! Thanks! The fact that your husband and toddler didn't even wanted to try it, might be the result of the final food looks, specially color I suspect.

Try administering it to them wrapped in a tortilla. For one they won't even imagine what it is inside, and after you can laugh at them for eating what they actually rejected a day before or so.

You are right! They ARE picky!

Great blog! Glad I found it!

This is very similar to a version of chili that I make (we love using black beans in it), but I've never added cocoa. It sounds like a good addition. I'll have to give it a try next time.

CrazyLady - It IS! It's helps give the chili a deeper flavor. Especially when you are using ground turkey instead of beef.
