I tried it for dinner tonight … but I had to use regular orzo, not whole wheat. None of our stores sell it, and I didn’t want to wait until it came through the mail. (I counted it as 4 Points, not 3, to make up for that.)

It was delicious … and more filling than I thought it’d be. I think I’ve found a new favorite lunch/dinner!

You can also get the whole wheat orzo at a website I found while looking for just that thing…sold in 1 pound bags, so you aren’t locked into 4 – 32oz containers like they sell on Amazon…

They sell all sorts of pasta…I am looking forward to my order arriving…they also have sweet potato orzo…on my order and can’t wait to try it!

FYI: I was able to find whole wheat orzo at Whole Foods (don’t know if everyone has whole foods in their area). Hope that helps.

Toasted sesame oil is fantastic for imparting an Asian flavor. And a little goes a long way. I may try adding a small amount at the end of cooking for an even more complex flavor.

Keep up the great ideas.
