I don’t know WHAT came over me this morning but I wanted something tasty, healthy fresh and satisfying to start my Magnificent Monday and this popped into my head. To me nothing is more “fresh” tasting then oranges and strawberries and the cilantro just topped it off nicely. It was a very satisfying fruit salad with a twist!
I think I’ve said this before but it warrants a repeat. For me preparing food is ultimately more satisfying then just eating it. I know some of you may think that’s crazy but listen, you can open the pantry and grab a pre-made processed food snack or you can spend 5 minutes in the kitchen peeling an orange, slicing some strawberries and sitting down to a tasty, ultimately more satisfying and nutritious bowl of fruit. You decide and I hope this idea motivates you to pick the latter!
- 1 Navel Orange pealed, sectioned and sections cut in half
- About 1 cup of whole fresh strawberries halved
- Sprinkle of Dried Cilantro
Put all ingredients in a bowl, mix and enjoy!
